Glazing

The choice of glazing is extremely important when determining the final equipment of windows. A properly constructed glazing unit increases the level of security, anti-burglary, acoustic insulation and privacy. View our Glazing page here.

Box Sash Vs. Spiral Balance & Furniture

All our hung windows are standard equipped with hardware that guarantees comfortable and safe use.

Box Sash Windows: Box sash windows represent the most classic style of sash windows. They utilise a traditional system of weights and cords for operation.

Spiral Balance Windows: Spiral Balance Sash windows are a contemporary take on traditional box sash windows. They operate using a spring system, allowing for a slimmer profile and larger glazing area compared to box sash windows. This design offers two box widths: 170 mm and 150 mm, with options for 24 mm or 20 mm glazing.

Standard & Optional Ironmongery: We use a range of ironmongery, contact us if you have specific requirements. We are of course happy to advise.
